Crashing at the Filipino cook's place. Don't know his name. He doesn't speak much English and I don't speak any Portugese, but he managed to pick up on "My car is broken and I might screw you if you let me stay at your place." He does have a computer, though--I think it's his roomate's. I think he has a roommate, at least. Like I said, we haven't talked much.

So Vegas has been treating me like shit. I guess that's OK. No apartment, awful job... I ought to see about working at the Venetian. They have statues, right? I can do that. I just haven't got an outfit for it right now. I still have my old whiteface, though. Mostly I just use the uke. No prep time, no fuss. It's better than sitting around in the Volvo.

God, I need some friends or something. I don't think I can go on like this.

I should really learn Filipino cook's name. We haven't slept together (would be awkward afterwards, I think, and I'm not that desperate) or anything, but it seems like I ought to know who he is after a month of working together. And me sleeping in his roommate's bed and all. For that matter, I should find out his roommate's name. I hope he doesn't have fleas or something. Sure as hell needs to wash his sheets.

This is what I get for moving out here, y'know? Semi-seducing an immigrant so I'll have a place to stay. But it's better than Boston. Then again, anything's better than Boston.
